DIY Amiga 500/2000 2MB Chip Upgrade PCB

DIY Amiga 500/2000 2MB Chip Upgrade PCB

This is a PCB to build an Amiga 500 / 2000 2MB Chip RAM upgrade by utilising an 8375 Agnus and a DRAM chip. It is based on LIV2's original design but re-implemented in KiCad and redesigned to be easier to solder.

I designed it because I was having difficulty building LIV2's boards so I figured I'd make something easier for me.

This design requires you to desolder the Agnus socket on your Amiga and solder in a set of 2.54mm pins sockets instead. This is mostly due to the cost of a plug to go into the Agnus socket.

It should be noted that this hasn't been tested on a Rev. 5 Amiga 500 and could get in the way of the keyboard in that particular model due to the rotation of the Agnus chip. For that model I'd recommend LIV2's original design.
